January 17: WCF office closed for Martin Luther King Day.

February 15-23: WCF Board of Directors Roundtable Planning Sessions.

March 10:  Special lecture at 6:30 p.m. at the Orpheum by Carol Coletta, speaking on the success formula for cities and creative communities.

March 15: All written and online scholarship applications due with required attachments by 4:00 p.m. at WCF office.  Applications postmarked later that 3-15-2011 will not be accepted.

April 1:  Knight Foundation grant requests due for Informed, Engaged Communities.

April 27: WCF Board of Directors meets at 3:00 p.m. at Foundation office.

May 1: WCF scholarship awards published on website.

May 2:  WCF Investment Committee meets 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Foundation office.

June 22: WCF Board of Directors annual meeting at 3:00 p.m. at Foundation office.

June 30: Fiscal year ends.

2012 CALENDAR

July 1:  Traditional and Community Venture grant requests accepted throughout year until all grant dollars are awarded.

July 21:  WCF Investment Committee meets from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Foundation office. 

Sept. 19-21:  2011 Fall Conference for Community Foundations at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis.

Oct. 20:    WCF Investment Committee meets from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Foundation office.

Jan. 19:  WCF Investment Committee meets from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Foundation office.

April 19:  WCF Investment Committee meets from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Foundation office.
