Similar to the more than 600 other community foundations around the country, the Wichita Community Foundation operates with a simple formula. The people of our region give generously, their dollars are prudently invested, and the income is returned to the community in the form of grants to local nonprofit organizations.

The Foundation's goal is to build a stronger community by investing in people, organizations and institutions so they can contribute to their neighborhoods and communities. The Wichita Community Foundation supports programs, projects, and organizations that creatively and successfully bind the community together to enrich the quality of life for all citizens.
