The Wichita Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest arts organizations in Kansas. Their mission is to provide high quality musical presentations for as many different audiences as possible.

How to Apply

Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the guidelines carefully prior to submitting a grant.

We want nothing standing between the gifts of our donors and the organizations who will put those gifts to good use.

So over the years, the Wichita Community Foundation has drastically cut the red tape usually associated with applying for grants.

What we ask for is a simple letter – no longer than two pages. Your letter to us should include a description of the project you’re seeking to fund, an explanation of the need for the project, and the amount of money you believe is necessary to accomplish your organization’s goal. (You may attach a separate page for the project budget if you wish.)

The Wichita Community Foundation’s Director of Donor & Grant Making Services is available to answer any questions about the application. Call 316-264-4880.
