The Wichita Community Foundation considers nonprofits our strongest allies. Through their dedicated, on-the-ground service, they help us identify community needs, and give us a solid, accurate basis for our financial allocations.

In 2010 the Foundation provided more than $3.1 million in grants to local nonprofit organizations. But our relationship with these organizations goes beyond that of grantor and grantee. The Wichita Community Foundation works to increase the efficiency and improve the outcomes of our nonprofit partners. As the connecting link between philanthropic contributors and the organizations that benefit from their gifts, the Foundation is in a unique position to avoid duplication of services, find common ground between agencies, and identify resources that have been overlooked or gone untapped.
