WCF - Wichita Community Foundation

The Wichita Community Foundation was established in 1986 to build charitable endowments and serve donors. It consists of numerous permanent funds in its endowment built by many thoughtful individuals, families and companies who care about Wichita and our region.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Foundation is an independent public charity. All donations qualify for the maximum deduction for charitable contributions under IRS regulations.

We strive to help donors create funds that reflect their charitable goals, and we communicate with them frequently regarding the Foundation’s work. Grants are made from endowment earnings to a wide variety of nonprofit organizations to enhance life in our community.

The Wichita Community Foundation is a flexible, yet permanent resource for building community philanthropy.
